I recall the transportation consultant indicated that all public school students could be transported on the district’s own fleet and contracting was wasting money due to mismanagement. Why is this bid for contracted busing necessary? Will the consultant be retained to asses the Transportation Office’s implementation of the report’s recommendations and savings?
