i dont understand why they are redoing the street all the way to sylvan. From omni until sylvan was just repaved a year ago .And what side walks are they repairing?
everyone knows the corner of Williams st and James needs a total do over with turning lanes and a few feet of widening, so why in the world are they just milling and repaving if they plan on doing a major over hall there in a few month’s??
This is hilarious. I live in this area. Sylvan to Prospect was repaved only because the township (rightfully) held a developer hostage to make sure he did it. But the rest of the street on either side — including buttel, Birch, Henry and Jamescrest streets — all are like third world countries, because the township would have to do it themselves. There are literally holes which get so deep a traffic cone is places inside and you almost can’t see it.
If this town actually cared about residents they’d replave this entire area immediately.

Very thankful they are finally paving Williams st. but they must round and widen the corners of Williams and James before they do, in preparation for the traffic light.
