VIDEO: It wasn’t just a wedding. When both of Yaakov Daniel Gorochov’s parents were Niftar, the young Russian boy immigrated from Nezhin to America in search of a new home and to come closer to Yiddishkeit.
Yaakov Daniel made his may to Lakewood, where he was welcomed into the Yeshivah Tal Torah, run by Reb Yosef Amsel.
But Yaakov Daniel also found a new home. He was welcomed warmly into the home and care of Mr. & Mrs. Ari Stern.
As time went on, Yaakov Daniel found a renewed flame of Torah in his life, and grew into an astonishing Ben Torah.
When the time came for Yaakov Daniel to find a Shidduch, his adoptive parents wanted only the best for him – as they would for any of their children.
Sarah Tziporah Tuker, was born in America to her Russian parents, and grew up in Philadelphia.
At about 17, Sarah Tziporah went to study in an Eretz Yisroel Seminary, where she too grew into a true Bas Yisroel. After completing her year in seminary, she returned to America and moved to Flatbush.
Several months ago, the two were paired up by the renowned Yelen family of Flatbush, and they got engaged. The young couple were married off last night by the Sterns, at Bais Faiga.
