After months of delay, there may be new hope for non-public security grants, TLS has learned.
With many non-public schools complaining that the New Jersey Grant monies specifically designated for them were being subject to terms and conditions not contained in the Bid, requiring the utilization of equipment that does not match existing infrastructure, and assessed at prices far exceeding the regular pricing, Superintendent Laura Winters asked the State for additional time to review these concerns.
The Grants to the non public schools exceed $200,000.00 and are an effort to provide enhanced technology-based safety and security to non-public schools.
