No Need To Rush, Shop Rite To Remain Open Through Tonight

As first reported on TLS, in order to accommodate the heavy Motzei Yom Tov traffic, Shop Rite will remain open through tonight into tomorrow’s regular schedule. So if you are one of those hundreds to rush to Shop Rite to get there before closing time, there’s no need to rush. The extended hours were arranged by Ephraim Chase of Shop Rite’s Kosher Experience department.

Great job Mr. Chase for arranging this perfect idea!! I was in shoprite already and there is no need to rush there is tons of food to buy!!

I went to Kosher West and was in and out in a few minutes without pushing and shoving for a box of cereal!

For those who are wondering why people prefer to buy at Shoprite on Motzei Pesach, I’ll reprint this comment here:
The Shoprite Cooperative is partly owned by yidden but this particular store (and its warehouse) is owned by a goy. Once food is delivered to this store the yidden have no chailek in it. The heimishe brands are actually delivered directly to this store and are never in the coop’s warehouse. So, for those of us who don’t sell real chametz and prefer not to buy sold chametz, this is an ideal set up.
Just one more piece of info- the heimishe companies do not deliver over Pesach so all of that chametz was in the store before Pesach.
