  1. o great here we go again! we are sick of all this pipe construction just b.c. developers want to keep building!. Its not right to us citizens that need to deal with all the closures!!

  2. As a resident of the Sunset Rd. area, I feel that I have to warn the residents of the area where the Water Co. will be working. The work in our area took over a year and they’re still not done. It is finally beginning to look like they’re nearing completion. The work was very disruptive and stretched on and on. Did anyone know what they were doing or if it was being done properly? After several months we found out that the work had not been done properly until then. At some point we were told that they would finish in 3 weeks. That was months ago. It’s a big company and a big project and I wonder if anyone knew what was really happening. Something was definitely wrong and I hope it goes better forthe residents of the areas of this latest project.

  3. … and this will be paid for by… raising the price of water? tacking on some other charge?? I would love to know the honest truth about how this will affect us

  4. These improvements should be paid for by the Company and the investors, they are the ones that will reap the benefits of the expanded service. But no, the rate payers will pay for this and the investors will get the benefits.

  5. All this work is to satisfy NJDEP standards to allow for further development in the city. Don’t be fooled. At least they finally provide the local phone number of the project engineer and not just the phone number for corporate, which is worthless. The people answering the phones at corporate are unaware of the project. Kiely Construction has a rather good track record here in Lakewood so I’m rooting for an efficient and fast job!

  6. sunset area was a mess! it disrupted everyone’s lives in the area , find out the facts before you let them into your hood! busses came hour late to yeshiva in the mornings, was real chaos !
