Keeping with the holiday spirit, NJ Transit is extending its “Family Super Saver” fares and off-peak discounts through New Year’s. The family package allows up to two children, 11 years old and younger, to travel free with a fare-paying adult. The rates are in effect now through Jan. 4 on all trains, buses and light rail lines. Off-peak tickets, a 15 percent discount off the regular rate, are valid on all NJ Transit trains during the same days, even during peek weekday service times. Star Ledger.
