NJ State Police: Preliminary Holiday Crash Fatalities at 11

The New Jersey State Police today said the preliminary X-Mas holiday period crash fatalities stands at 11. Five of those, were pedestrians, State Police said.

The State Police says there were about 588 in 2012, down 4.7% from 2011.

  1. So lets get this straight 588 deaths from traffic accidents just in N.J and a handful of gun deaths yet everyone is going crazy about gun control hmmm seems to me its politically motivated no?!

  2. Whereas, people don’t drive around (usually) with the intent to kill unsuspecting men, women and children. Traffic accidents are accidents. Whereas, most gun deaths are committed with the intent to kill. A few are accidents, but most are premeditated murder. I don’t understand how people can’t see the difference. I guess in this town, unless someone is holding a gun to one of the residents heads, guns look as harmless as a car. But hey, you’re entitled to your opinion and your perception of logical deduction. Look at this from another point of view. If someone was standing in front of you with a loaded gun and another with a car, would you be likely to run to the person with the car rather then the one with the gun?
