NJ OEM Monitoring Weather Forecast

snow_trees_tlsThe following information was submitted to TLS by Police Chief Rob Lawson. The New Jersey Regional Operations Intelligence Center (NJ ROIC) reports the State Office of Emergency Management (NJ OEM) is monitoring a weather event in coordination with the National Weather Service (NWS).
 
Summary: This hazardous weather outlook is for Southern, Central and Northern New Jersey. An accumulating snow is expected from Monday night into Tuesday with a few inches possible. The higher elevations in Northern New Jersey may receive several inches of snow. A wintery mix  of precipitation is expected into Tuesday night and should change into rain on Wednesday. The main concern in that time period is light ice accumulations from Tuesday into Wednesday.
 
Impact: Snow and mixed precipitation may cause hazardous driving conditions. Ice accumulation may result in downed power lines and subsequent potential power outages. TLS.

  1. Its gonna be a few inches. So what !!! They have monitor this ??!! Monitor the drug traffic in High Point & gang activity in RainTree. Not this.

    i think we all will burn to death from all this warmth!
    these democrats/liberals are right, i think we should all buy hybrid-cars to save the planet from global warming!
