NJ Gov. Murphy Considering Paying People to Get Vaccinated

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has set a goal to inoculate 70% of the state’s adult population by the end of June, and while New Jersey is nearing that number – 67.4% of adults have received at least one shot, and 50.4% have gotten both doses – sharply declining interest amongst non-vaccinated adults in receiving the shot has health officials worried that they won’t hit their goal.

To incentivize more people to get inoculated against COVID-19, the state last week launched the “Shot and a Beer” program, in which individuals receiving their first vaccine dose in the month of May are eligible to receive a free beer, but concern remains that it won’t be enough to drive people to vaccination clinics.

To further incentivize people, New Jersey is now weighing the idea of actually paying individuals to get the vaccine. In an interview with Fox News’ New York affiliate on Friday, Governor Murphy said he can’t rule out the idea. “All options remain on the table,” Murphy said. “We’re going to do what it takes to get our folks vaccinated.”

If it becomes reality, New Jersey wouldn’t be the first state to pay its residents to get vaccinated. West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced last week that young people who get the vaccine will be credited a $100 savings bond, and other states are cooking up unique ways to compel individuals to get a vaccine.

Murphy is bribing you to so he can violate the The Nuremberg Code (1947). Remember that? Didn’t think so. We should all remember it. Never forget.

Look it up. Search for British Medical Journal No. 7070, Volume 313 Page 1448. 12/07/1996.

Governor knucklehead is giving away tax money, it’s not his money.
Wait until he has to raise our taxes to make up spending money he doesn’t have.
Vote Republican in November!

I want $300 per shot; I’ll accept $550 for both doses. I want the payment in cash, and I want it in advance. Experts in counterfeit bills must be there at the time of payment to ensure the cash is legit. Other than that, I’m good to go.

My Take

Oh yeah? With who’s money? Anyway, he can’t bribe me to take risks with my health, not even for $1,000,000.
