After a fatal overnight shooting in Baltimore, Maryland left multiple people dead, New Jersey’s Attorney General again uses the tragedy as an example of why guns should be banned in New Jersey.
“Families and neighbors gathering together at block parties, beaches, and cookouts in celebration of this incredible nation’s independence should be able to do so without the threat of gun violence. Our hearts ache for those impacted by the mass shooting in Baltimore. We pray for the recovery of those injured and traumatized by what occurred. We grieve for those lost to this senseless act of violence and extend our sympathy to all those who loved them. And we support the first responders and medical professionals rendering aid and the many officers working to bring those responsible to justice.
Enough is enough. We need to do better. We must end gun violence in this country.”
How about locking up for life or the death penalty for violent criminals?!?

The threat is criminal violence, stop blaming the tool and blame the criminals, lock them up instead of freeing them on to the streets, the problem is democrats like you love criminals and just want to restrict law abiding citizens. We must end criminal violence in this country. Bring back the death penalty and speed up the appeal process, so they don’t spend more than a couple years on death row before their execution.
how come you only hear about a crack down on gun violence when something happens you will hear it for a few weeks after about two weeks and everything quiets down you never hear another word they will do something about it until another shooting occurs.
A democrat never let’s an opportunity to let the fear of gun violence slip away. Keep the criminals in jail and just maybe that will deter crime. Next stupid question, was it a legally purchased firearm? The criminals aren’t going to give up their guns. Take their guns away first then we can have the next conversation.
Criminals DONT obtain guns legally, typically they buy them blackmarket. If you want to curb gun violence, keep them locked up!!
