A ‘Night of Remembrance’ has been planned in honor of the one year anniversary of the murder of Police Officer Chris Matlosz. The event, arranged by the PBA, will include a candlelight vigil at Red Square – rain or shine – followed by a short ceremony in the Township Auditorium.
The January 14 event will begin at 7:00 PM, and conclude at 10:00 PM.
(See video below of the candlelight vigil held last year in Red Square. Click here for photos).
Planning on joining in matlosz’s memory.

Town Square has been called Red Square by long time Lakewood residents for at least 20+ years due to it being paved in red bricks. No one I know calls it Town Square.
I wish we could be there, but our thoughts r always with Kelly and Adam. We will be thinking of them on the day when Chris was so taken. God Bless!
RIP Chris 317
