  1. To number one what has he done so far? The budget was cut by $155000.00 did you hear that one of the fire trucks pump went bad? It’s going to cost just over $40000.00 to fix it. The truck is also one of the newer ones.

  2. Since when does the media need to be invited…..the whole purpose of the media is to keep track on what’s happening in town.also contrary to popular belief….the fire department is a public domain….so anyone cud go there anytime. So my advise to you is…take a chill!!!

  3. The scoop wasn’t there for the private meeting and the comments about the fire department budget should be dropped if you like to know more about what goes on in the fire department then join and become a member

  4. To number 10: the fire department is a public agency. You don’t have to joint to make comments. The real problem with the fire department is that they feel that they own the department and unless you join keep quiet. Not in America!

  5. To number 12 I am a Lakewood resident and its a disgrace to see the communities here in Lakewood pick on the fire department just think i run into a burning building as others are running out I am a proud volunteer fire fighter for Lakewood I don’t get paid I pay my taxes and I don’t have a problem paying fire tax to keep my family safe
