New Year’s Eve Weather Snowy; Officials Caution Slick Roads

A wintry mix of snow, rain and sleet is expected across the Garden State during the day Thursday and into the evening. Between two and three inches of snow is forecast across northern New Jersey developing Thursday morning, then turning to rain and sleet in the afternoon. Temperatures will stay in the 30s during the day. A slight chance of snow is possible on new Year’s Day. AP

  1. will everyone please take a chill? The last snowstorm was over two feet; LPWD wasnt the only department in this state that was overwhelmed. so just get on with your life and drive safely.

  2. They should have sprayed the roads like Howell does bec. Our roads wore beautiful this morning and only very little plowing was needed (and it doesn’t kill the roads):)
