PHOTO: At last night’s Planning Board meeting, a new member was sworn in, replacing a recently vacated seat on the board. Eli Rennert, pictured, replaced Angela Koutsouris ESQ,who left the board for personal reasons. The following are the current Board members: Committeeman Albert Akerman, Anthony Arecchi, Stanley Banas, Carl Fink, Louie Follman, John Franklin, Yechiel Herzl, Enrique Percal, Mayor Menashe Miller, Michael Neiman and Joshua Schmuckler.
The Board meets once in two weeks. TLS.
With all due respect what qualifications does this guy and others have to do town planning. Does anyone on his board have and education in town plannning, traffic etc? or do they just make uneducated guesses and we end up with a mess of a city?
He will be a great member and he will benefit the town , a very level headed individual!!!
Excellent appointment! The Board is a better Baord with Eli on it.
I think this mr rennert has a great future in politcs ,he is a great guy and and really wants to do the best for the klal!
THIS IS GREAT NEWS FOR LAKEWOOD TWP. I hope to see him one day on the twp committee. lakewood can really benfit from someone like eli rennert.
Eli is a smart and capable guy. Will only make a decision after hearing all options and doing appropriate research. Good luck!
I am a big fan of mr rennert. I have met him a couple of times and i only have good things to say about him,he has a great future in politcs and he wants to do his best to help out everybody. Thanks to mayor miller for a great pick!
We need someone who will go back and look at the old laws about building, used to be tha there had to be so many feet between houses. Now if there is an empty lot you build. Time to leave some land around here. Everywhere you look there is a house being built. Lakewood used to be a town, not anymore, too crowded, and people don’t take care of their property.
oh wow this guy is a rising star!! keep it up Mr Rennert
TO: lakewood jungle
They do not have to have experience in anything, they listen to the Builders “experts” explain how the project will “be of great benefit to the Town and will not be a detriment to the present traffic flow” and they vote for it. The Rules for building are already in place with the 5 year plans that have been established. The board sees that the plans are followed and grant variances as needed for small changes. And we all know how this system has worked out for the Town.
Are you sure Maypr Miller appointed him , I think the senior communities were pushing for his appointment!
Its been a while since the town made such a smart move…..Eli has a real glatta kop!
Eli is a gevaldiga guy he is a great asset for the beni torah yeshiva guys in our beloved lakewood I am sure he is going to vote with yashruss and kedusha without any inferior motives
Living in Lkaewood senior communities, I think we will ALL benefit from Mr. Rennert.
-heart of gold
-special place in his heart for seniors
Does anyone by any chance know if this is the same Rennert that is on the CDBG committee ? If yes, that is great. I dealt with him and he is highly motivated, professional, and is out to help as much as possible.
eli is a great guy i remember him from 10 years ago in yeshiva together!
great guy great guy great guy great guy great guy great guy great guy
“I am sure he is going to vote with yashruss and kedusha without any inferior motives”
It is also my hope that he doesn’t vote with “inferior motives”-only superior motives.
maybe we can start a campaign to get eli rennert as a write in for the twp committee in november 2011!!!!!!! I am sure he will win hands down!
i know eli very well. he is a great person, level headed, & is a true klal person. the board will benefit greatly from him. he is a genius and succeeds in what ever he does. wishing him lots of luck!
VERY headed leveled guy! very proud to b friendly to him.
Eli is a great guy who always puts the needs of the community and the individual before himself
Sorry, typed to fast. Everyone in Lakewood is very nice. Have you met a bad person yet. The only thing that makes me nervous is simple: you are not allowed to vote without someone telling you how to vote.
yes he is the same one from the CDBG committee. you are not the only one to say this, anybody that i have spoken to that have dealt with him only has nice things to say about him.
Reb Eli Ber Wachtfogel let it be known that he holds of the new appointment. In a personal phone call, he wished Eli much hatzlacha and told him he will be a tremendous asset to our kehilah.
Kol Hakovod Eli!!!!!!!
