As The Lakewood Scoop previously posted , Minyan Shelanu will once again be hosting their annual Lag Ba’omer Bonfire/Raffle this evening, at the Oak Street School, 75 Oak Street. A new Band, ‘Evanal‘, which is based in Lakewood and managed by Chaim Rosenblatt, will be the ones entertaining the crowd. The bands’ players are as follows: On Keyboard-Motty Weiss, Guitar-Eli Lax, Drums-Shabsi Brody, Saxaphone–Arkadi Koffman. As per the request of Minyan Shelanu, the event is for men only. The schedule is as follows: Barbecue at 7:00 p.m, Bonfire 9:00 p.m and the raffle drawing at 11:00 p.m. ( The grand prize is $10,OOO, First Prize $2,600 and Second Prize is $1,800). All poskim agree that it’s not proper to batil your time away on blogs…..so ask your posek first -take care of your ruchniyus, before worrying about my gashmiyus (or rucniyus)
The main thing that we are forgetting is how big a mentch chaim rosenblatt is. He treats his customers with the utmost respect. No wonder he is so succesful! Keep it up Chaim!
