Believe it or not, New Jersey has been ranked the best state to live in, according to a new ranking.
Personal finance site Wallethub each year releases a ranking of the best states to live based on a scores on 52 different metrics such as safety, education, crime rates, health, and quality of life, all of which the Garden State was ranked in the top 10 in the nation.
But even though it got the top stop in best states to live in, New Jersey isn’t all good. It ranked worst in affordability and scored poorly on its economy.
New Jersey received a cumulative ranking score just a bit higher than Massachusetts (second place) and New York (third place).
The worst state to live in? According to Wallethub, that distinction goes to New Mexico, which received low scores on nearly every scoring metric.

Wallethub just lost its credibility.
Florida/Texas best states to live in, no state income tax, reasonable property taxes, no leftist governor.
Curios to know what the other options were. Was it North korea Venezuela or Somalia?
wow amazing how every month it changes, last month it was from the worst states, their ranking really should mean a lot to us
Well not so recently it was voted as one of the most hated states in the country forgot the insane taxes and communist stems ruining the state, the governor loved abusing his powers over the pandemic to
Goose Gossage vehemently disagrees with this many improvements needed.
Gossage out!
Obviously some leftist group because it makes no sense.
There are so many states with cheaper gas prices than ours. Remember it was the idiots in Trenton that decided to raise our guests taxes by $0.50 a gallon over the course of a few years, now putting our prices at par or even over a lot of places in neighboring states.
Taxes in general are high overall. If you don’t believe it figure it out for yourself what you’re paying overall in taxes, including all taxes that you pay. You might be surprised.
The states that are much better to live in if you’re able to do it would be Texas, Florida, as well as some others.
Quite ironic that their top three choices are uber leftist states.
