New Jersey Health Department Warns Of Possible Measles Exposure At Newark Airport

New Jersey health officials are warning residents of potential measles exposure linked to a case involving a non–New Jersey resident who traveled through Newark Liberty International Airport while infectious earlier this month.

The New Jersey Department of Health said the individual passed through Terminals B and C at Newark Liberty on December 19, between about 7am and 7pm. The person’s exact movements during that time are still unknown.

Measles is a highly contagious virus that spreads through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes and can linger in the air for up to two hours after a person leaves an area. People can also become infected through direct contact with saliva or mucus.

Health officials urged residents, particularly parents, caregivers and health care providers, to be alert for symptoms and to make sure vaccinations are up to date. Symptoms include a high fever, cough, runny nose, red and watery eyes, and a rash that typically appears three to five days after symptoms begin. The rash usually starts on the face and spreads downward across the body.

Measles can lead to serious complications, including pneumonia and swelling of the brain, and poses particular risks for pregnant people, including miscarriage, premature birth and low birth weight.

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed or who develops symptoms is advised to call a health care provider or local health department before seeking in-person medical care. Officials said advance notice allows providers to make special arrangements that reduce the risk of spreading the virus to other patients and medical staff.

State and local health officials are conducting contact tracing and working to notify people who may have been exposed. Those potentially exposed could develop symptoms as late as January 2, 2026, according to the department.

As of today, no additional cases related to the airport exposure had been identified in New Jersey.

New Jersey has reported 11 confirmed measles cases so far in 2025, compared with seven cases in 2024. Nationally, measles cases have climbed to their highest levels since 1992, eight years before the disease was declared eliminated in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 2,012 cases across 44 jurisdictions as of December 23.

Health officials said the measles, mumps and rubella, or MMR, vaccine is safe and the most effective way to prevent infection and serious complications. The vaccine is given in two doses. Officials also urged international travelers to ensure they are fully vaccinated, noting that infants ages 6 to 11 months should receive one dose before travel, followed by two additional doses after their first birthday.

Ther are plenty of vaccines, however, vaccine does equal immune. As a matter of fact, it’s good to get measles, the body detoxifies, and there are certain cancers and heart conditions that are prevented through getting measles. In Dissolving Illusions, the author brings how a person once had such a cancer. The doctors asked him if her ever had measles, and he said no. They injected live measles into him, the body detoxified, and got rid of the cancer.

But I think you mean your point humorously. ‘WHO’ meaning World Homicide [dis]Organization, as Dr. Zev Zelenko a”h would call it.

then those infected illegals get drunk near the beach for whatever reason they went there in the first place, and get themselves killed by a car speeding by, and the local driver who is fully vaccinated and pays his taxes, he is the one liable to end up behind bars, without even addressing the core of all these problems!

if someone was here illegally, doing things that are not legal, and endangering themselves and others, then the prosecutor who knew all this, shouldn’t have pressed those charges in the first place!

Yes, that’s why there was no reason for Covid shutdown, and indeed, some cities, states and countries had no shutdown – only a recommendation to stay at home if you’re sick, as you said, and they had no more infection and death rates than anywhere else.

Oh, by the way, all departments store in the US remained open the entire time – because they were essential – in contrast to small stores. And everyone “knows” that Covid was only in small stores and schools etc, not in large stores – and even though the large stores had hundreds of people under one roof at one time (as the small stores were closed).
(And of course, it had nothing to do with money and the fact that these mega-corporations may have a “bit” of connections with gov.).

Car crashes can lead to serious issues, yet everyone drives.
In the mid-1900s, everyone in the US (and all over) got measles by the time they were 15, and no one was dying. Ther were some deaths and complications in the 1800s, as nutrition and sanitation systems were atrocious. Most people lived in cities, and conditions were very subpar compared to what we have today – which today’s standards were basically in place by 1950.
That is why people stopped dying from measles and other infectious diseases. The measles vaccine first came out in 1963.

Measles does NOT linger in the air for two hours. Quite the opposite; oxygen kills viruses. The two-hour claim comes from laboratory conditions, where they placed measles in a clear box, 1 meter square, under extremely low humidity, and the lower the humidity, the longer the virus is preserved.
That is one reason people get more viruses in winter, as since heat is going, humidity is lower. It is therefore important to get a humidifier, and houses should be made with them built-in.
Instead, people spend mountains on junk food, medicine and surgery. How sad and silly.

And the MMR (and all vaccines) maims and kills many, besides the inestimable amounts of cancers and heart conditions that are not being prevented. Dissolving Illusions notes that at the very best, the vaccine has replaced one set of risks with another set of risks.
