With now less than three weeks before the November general election in New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy has a 44% job approval ratings, with 37% saying they disapprove, a new poll from Fairleigh Dickinson University shows.
The poll shows the governor’s approval rating has remained stable since the FDU Poll last measured it in May, with a similar 44% of residents (including 73 percent of Democrats) saying that they approve of the job he’s doing as governor, up from the 40% approval he had a year ago, but lower than the 48% the same poll showed in February.
The FDU poll was conducted between October 6-14 with a sample size of 813 adult New Jersey residents and a margin of error of +/- 3.5%.
