New Jersey bill allowing voters to take a ‘Ballot Selfie’ clears Assembly

[VIDEO BELOW] The General Assembly on Thursday approved legislation (A-4188) that would allow voters to photograph their own ballots while in the voting booth and share the picture on social media. The bill was sponsored by Assembly Democrats Raj Mukherji, Annette Chaparro, Angelica Jimenez, Angela McKnight and Nicholas Chiaravalloti.

This is the best thing the Democrats can find to do with their time! I guess that if it weren’t for doing useless feel good things like this they would be raising our taxes, so maybe this is a good thing.

That does not seem like good idea. Like the old days where the union forced you to vote and invite them in as a translator so they could see you voting. Someone can intimidate you to vote how they want and threaten you to post it so they can see you complied.

I’m guessing there is nothing for the assembly to be busy with. No decaying infrastructure. No poverty. Wow. We must be piecing in an alternate universe.

How can anyone see you taking a picture inside closed curtains? Is the law about posting it publicly; was that illegal? It is illegal to take pictures in the voting area; except for the media.
