Seeing spots? Kids have a funny looking rash? With so many common colds and stomach viruses going around, so are benign viral rashes. Viral rashes are so common and nothing to worry about it.

They can be spots, bumps, red or a little more violet. They can even be pale and look like little blisters. Usually, they will show up on the trunk, arms, legs. They can be itchy or not at all. The best news is that there is absolutely nothing to worry about and the rash generally fades away in a few days.

Here’s when to worry
● High fever
● A rash that begins on the face
● Large purple patches
● Painful, swollen glands

If anything like this shows up, see the pediatrician asap.

Stay healthy this season!
