Beginning 10 p.m. this Friday, June 9th, the existing Goethals Bridge will be permanently closed in both directions to accommodate the transition to the new Goethals Bridge.
•Eastbound traffic is expected to resume on the new Goethals Bridge late Saturday afternoon, June 10th.
•Westbound traffic is expected to resume on the new Goethals Bridge late Sunday afternoon, June 11th.
•Consider the Bayonne Bridge as an alternate route during the closure, as high traffic volume is expected at the Outerbridge Crossing.
