TLS has learned that a new high school under the auspicies of Rabbi Yonosan Sanders Shlita, will be opening next year. The Menaheles of the new school – Shiras Devorah – will be Mrs. Chaya David, formerly of Bais Brocha of Brooklyn, and daughter of Harav Tuvia Goldstien Zatzal. Rabbi Sanders is also the founder of the Bais Tova girls elementary school.

Go Yonoson Go! You never sleep!!!
Is this exclusively for Bais Tova girls or can anyone apply?
What type of girl are they looking to start off with? Straight A? Yeshivish? Or are they going to tone things down a bit and not emphasize the grades and be more normal? Because that’s the type of school that is needed here, NOT another elite “I only get A’s” type of school.
But hatzlacha anyways- you’ll need it to deal with the public!
I wish him much hatzlacha. He is a great person and does alot of chesed
I’m certainly happy to hear this good news and wish him much hatzlacha in this difficult undertaking. However, I would like to know why we have to bring someone in from NY when we have so many capable people here in Lakewood who could really use the parnossa.
Mrs david is phenomanal, shmo holeches lfoneha she has a great reputation as a wonderful principal in NY. They should have only hatzlocha and brocho!!
Getting experienced mechanchim is SMART!!!!!
(moderated)
i know mrs. david she is the best. she is extremely talented a terrific mechaneches a wonderful and caring person and a total mench. i too came from brooklyn and know her personally. this school is lucky to have her and every girl would also be lucky to be a student in her school. I wish her and her family all the best. May she have complete hatzlachoh on this huge undertaking
cool logo
i dont know why everyone is so bent out of shape when it comes to geting in to schools i wish i had a little off when i was a kid we had to go evey day even in deep snow Anyway i realy think it should be like the chassidim, every kid gets in! Why cat we be a kehilla like them?
My daughter tells me that the bais tova girls in her school are on a very high level ! It sounds to me that this high school is going to be very succesful!! I wish you a lot of hatzlocho! Brocha!!
is it going to be bais tova style like the girls that are more preppy (if that word can apply to anyone in lakewood) and from more balibatish/well to do families
How is being on a high level equal to being successful? Why are these girls pressured into learning/memorizing every Ramban and all the other meforshim. They should be taught home economics and accounting or something else to help them in regular life. Memorizing meforshim will not teach them how to be a good wife/mother.
I would much rather my wife would have learned how to cook when she was in high school.
I work hard all day and would rather have a hot meal waiting for me than a Ramban.
Lucky you. I would opt for someone who is happy to see me and not blame me for her unhappiness. Maybe I should buy a dog.
WOW!!!! Another High School in Lakewood! This will be great for the school crisis of so many girls being rejected to schools, since there’s too many girls in comparison to the amount of schools. I’m so happy someone is taking the plunge and fixing things up!
To the lakewood guy comment number 11 did you not get into bais tova!! The Yedios my child gets , the middos , and yiras shomayoim. Is unbelivable in all ways Bais tova is gevaldig!!!
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! another girls school. woooooohooooooooo
