  1. same amount of learning will be done as before.!!!! only differnce will be is that, when they go around yom kipper selling seats they wont make as much. but no differnce.

  2. To the people who can’t appreciate what bmg has done for lakewood- move out!! This is a makom torah and it is acceptable of all. I came to bmg as a bachur and now married and working-been here since 1993.

The issue with the mikvah is crazy. Parking is on the otherside of the building not facing madison.

As with all other mikvas people are educated not to walk on thay side of the street during specifc times.

What’s the problem. Would people just act a little bit mature. Grow up.

On another issue. Ever heard of kovod hatorah? We have 4 roshei yeshivas who are our daas torah. If you are not machshev them, please move out of town. They are ohev yisroel and have such special middos that exemplify what a true ben torah should develop to be. To those who just talk loshon hora, I challange you to approch the roshei yeshiva and just speak with them.

  3. if u get a bunch of chevra to make a tumult about the mikva isssue then im sure something will be done. screaming here on the internet won’t do much. put up signs . do a mailing as these methods work much better

  4. it happens to be that this building was Cong Ahavat Shalom which was a conservative cong and rabbi miller (no relation to reb s b cohen ) was the Rabbi long ago

  5. Anyone that learns there knows tha there is no parking so when you have 600 people coming which will mean at least 300 cars people will have no option except to park in front of the mikva since you can fit maxioumum 50 cars on forest and the side streets.

  6. If Parking is the issue with the Mikvah ,then accordinmg to you there should be an exclusion zone for at least 5 blocks in EVERY direction from the Mikvah ,because inevitably people will park there . That is a pretty big are to exclude . Isnt it simpler just to make the areas in front of the Mikvah NO PARKING and put big yellow stripes . Once the first few bochrim get 120 tickets ,the parking will disappear

  7. I think the next move is going to be to a call from these Kanoim tostop construction on the new building next to Bais Sholom . After all it is within 2 blocks of the Mikvah and people will definitely park on 11 th st . Then the next step will be a call to close down Bais Sholom itself because of the parking . Even now there are people from Bais Sholom parking on 11th St .

  8. it would be easier for someone to park on that side of madison when going to the new Bais Ahron or bais sholom , it is only two very short blocks
why dont we stop all yeshiva building within 10 blocks of the mikva
wait all the yeshiva buildings are in a five block radius already….
rumor has it r’ chaim kanievsky was approached and he said move the mikva

  9. Seriously-I don’t see what the problem is with this building and the Mikvah. I don’t imagine too many people will bother parking across Madison when there are plenty of half empty blocks on that side of the highway to park on. And even if they wouldn’t mind crossing Madison, I can’t imagine where they would park. The new Bais Aharon building (just ONE block away from the Mik) will have 1000 seats – which means ( a minimum) 750 additional cars looking for parking nearby. Good Luck!!

  10. What about now that people ark on those streets for Bais Faiga and Bais Sholom? Noone goes into the parking lot which can fit all needed cars! Grow up! The streets there have been parked up at night for years!

  11. for al thosw that don’t understand what’s the problem with opening this ne beis .medrash well if yeshivas poiskim and roshei yeshivas signed on a aer with takanas on how to be noyheg with no parking there and no walking there then even they agree its not first choice

  12. Thats a big stretch . From making sure people are aware of where not to park and writing up a letter ,to using that as a proof that the building is not proper .

  13. Grand Mikva stands literally in the middle of Flatbush, on the corner of Ocean Avenue and Avenue “L”; not in the middle of Ihr HaTorah but mamush next door to the appt. building of the anti-frum Soviet immigrants, so there is no privacy whatsoever.
As late as in 5760/2000, I remember the “worshipers” of the “temple” walking to their cars on Shabbos Koidesh on Forest Avenue in Lakewood!!! No longer, it will be BMG now.

  14. I don’t see any problem, the mikvah entrance is on the side of the building away from Madison Ave. No one has to see anything. I just hope parking won’t go all the way up to 14th street and beyond, bec. I live there.

  15. we’re talking about a town that has a friday mikveh in every development. In many cases the mikveh is located in the basement of a shul and in use while the people are davening there. The children are out playing and see the coming and going. where are all the hockers when it come to that. obviously this is about a anti yshiva agenda. Please dont forget what brought us to this town BMG. we all benefited and keep on benefitting from this huge mokom torah.
