Nearly Half Of N.J. Residents Say Their Financial Situation Has Worsened In Past Year, Poll Shows

tomchei_shabbos_warehouse.jpg3A new poll finds many New Jerseyans still feeling the effects of the recession and worried about inflation. The Fairleigh Dickinson University-PublicMind poll out today asked people if they believe they’re better off financially now than they were a year ago. Just 26 percent said yes. Forty-five percent said their financial situation has gotten worse.

Nearly two-thirds said they’re very concerned about inflation and rising prices.

The telephone survey of 610 randomly selected adults who participate in their household’s financial decisions was conducted March 29-April 4. It has a sampling error margin of plus or minus 4 percentage points. AP.

  1. Hyper-inflation is beginning to kick in. It will get much much worse very soon.

Why the federal government continues to borrow from China to fund a $1.5 trillion annual deficit is beyond me. Why the federal government continues to spend money it doesn’t have, is beyond me.

It’s going to get much worse.

Congressman Chris Smith continues to vote for these hyper-inflation inducing budgets. We need a Tea Party candidate to challenge Chris Smith in the Republican primaries.

  2. I don’t understand how this financial situation has happen. I know our great leader in the White House has plans to restore our nations economy to its former greatness. If only people would give him time and patience, they’ll see the fruits of his policies.

    A goy,
    Gerry Mullen
