N.J. Turnpike, Parkway Drivers Can Get Free Coffee, Tea On New Year’s Eve

Travelers on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway can get free coffee, tea and milk at rest stops from 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve to 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day, a report said. Officials said they want to keep drivers safe and fight fatigue. Toll workers will also distribute cards to motorists reminding them to not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to the report. Star Ledger.
