The chief administrator of the MVC agency has announced that the agency’s 39 offices will return to holding Monday hours on July 2, and that extended hours would continue on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The announcement comes a year after the MVA eliminatied Monday hours at motor vehicle offices.
The administrator also says that within a year, NJ drivers should be able to renew their licenses online, a service not currently available.
As of July 2, the hours at the MVC will be as follows:
-Monday: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
-Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
-Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
-Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
-Friday: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
-Saturday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It’s getting close to November elections MVC has more hours watch who takes credit for the new hours. Same thing every year, gotta love the politicians in this state.
