PHOTO: A water main cover not properly installed on New Hampshire Avenue resulted in multiple vehicles slashing their tires today. At about 4:00 PM, Police and Chaveirim responded to the area of New Hampshire and Cedarbridge Avenues near the LTMUA, where passing motorists kept slashing their tires on a water main cover sticking out of the ground, following a construction job.
At least two of the vehicles had to be towed after slashing two of their tires.
The others, were assisted by Chaveirim.
The motorists say they hope to be reimbursed by LTMUA, whom the cover belongs to. TLS-MK.
but its a county road the county should pay for it !
Its a beFheirish halocha that the township is responsible for the reshish horabim

does anyone know where i can find the chida’s viduy online?
oh yeah, i saw that and i SLOWED DOWN and AVOIDED IT! i guess paying attention to the road and doing the SPEED LIMIT has its advantages.
There is also a raised manhole cover on Carasaljo Drive right by South Lake Drive.
hey bingo, its not the county’s responsibility. call the water company. its their water main. but in reality we ( the public ) will pay for it anyway. if the county fixes it (its not their problem though) it will be repaired with tax dollars. if the water co. fixes it your water bill will rise accordingly to offset the cost.
Thank you 72 26 for changing the tires
