Car Stolen, Multiple Vehicles Burglarized In Presidential Estates, Chestnut

UPDATED: Multiple vehicles were burglarized and one vehicle was stolen over Shabbos in the Presidential Estates development and Chestnut area, TLS has learned. Residents say the incidents occurred some time Friday evening. The vehicle which was stolen was a brand new Buick.

In Chestnut, the victim tells TLS an ipad, GPS and cash was stolen from his vehicle.

Other vehicles also had GPS devices and other items stolen.

Police and CIU are investigating the incidents.

UPDATE 9:32 PM. The vehicle which was stolen was just located in another town, after the On-Star in the vehicle was activated. TLS-CCP/TLS-FY.

  1. I know its sometimes an inconvenience but locking your car doors before you go into shabbos may help deter the criminals..they look for unlocked cars and easy access to homes..they don’t want to make a lot of noise when doing something..DON’T make it ez for them.

    Glad to know that because the night it was recovered there were 8 Lakewood police cars at the corner of Pine Acres Blvd. and Stark St. (in LAKEWOOD) and, in the end, a flat bed truck hoisting a late model Buick on it. Can I assume this was something different?
