A federal judge has slapped sanctions on Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, and other pro-Trump attorneys – including a Lakewood resident – who unsuccessfully challenged Michigan’s 2020 election result.
A lawsuit filed by the attorneys over the election results was dismissed by US District Judge Linda Parker, who said it was largely based on “speculation and conjecture.”
This marks the latest instance of pro-Trump attorneys being punished for their claims over the 2020 election.
Rudy Giuliani had his law license suspended in New York and Washington, DC over false statements he made regarding the election. And Sidney Powell is named as a defendant in a multi-billion dollar lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems against Trump allies over claims about its machines switching votes from Trump to Biden.
Voting systems company Smartmatic has also filed a massive lawsuit against Giuliani, Powell, and Fox News for pushing election conspiracy claims.
The attorneys being sanctioned are: Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, Emily Newman, Julia Haller, Brandon Johnson, Scott Hagerstrom, Howard Kleinhendler, Gregory Rohl, and Stefanie Lynn Juntilla.
They will be required to pay fines, legal fees, and take additional law courses, including courses pertaining to election law.
They should sue the Judge for what he is worth and revoke the Judge’s license. Let them eat their own medicine.

There were several cases of proven voter fraud. So you can’t say the claims are fraudulent or based on conjecture. And then he fines them.

Yes, there were proven cases of Republican voter fraud, but the claims of these lawyers were fraudulent. The claimants admitted as such, and the rest were totally frivolous.
A lawyer who does such things, knows that they will be sanctioned.

Yep, were getting closer and closer to the Communist Utopia where if your on the “right” side of things you can loot, burn buildings, ignore immigration laws, talk about masks while not wearing one (eating out [Newsome], getting your hair done [Pelosi], celebrate election results in public with hundreds of people [D’blasio] attempt to hold big bash birthday parties [Obama] ) but if your on the “wrong” side of things you can just get up in public and make a claim that the election results was wrong, no burning buildings, no encouraging people to kill cops, no looting and the KGB, I meant the United States Federal Judges will be after you…..
People emigrated to the US from all over the world so they can be treated as an individual human being with freedom of Religion, Freedom to speak up without fearing a tyrannical response, freedom to come up with new ideas and express them as well as to debate them…. and yes, Freedom to question an election….what is becoming of this place….?
