PHOTOS & VIDEO [UPDATED 10:30 PM] Ms. Donna Kelly of the Lakewood Police Department, was named as the Employee Of The Month at this evening’s Township Committee meeting.

Ms. Kelly – coordinator of the Traffic & Safety Department and off-duty assignments – was joined by her family as well as by several off-duty officers as she was awarded a plaque, and with her parking spot for the month.

The Mayor and Committee Lichtenstien thanked Kelly for her dedication to the job, especially for the last minute or late-night jobs which Kelly does on a moments notice.

The employee of the month is chosen by the Lakewood public and co-workers.

The program, spearheaded by Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien, was instituted to highlight the achievements of all township employees and recognize those individuals who serve the public and treat fellow employees in an exemplary way.
