VIDEO: Last night’s Employee of The Month reward was awarded to Mrs. Jean Haber, who is the supervisor of the traffic guards – a division of the Town’s Traffic & Safety department. “Jean’s personality is very bright, very sunny and people enjoy interacting with her”, Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien said. “This is an honor that is very well deserved”, Lichtenstien said.

Also joining Mrs. Haber at the event, was her family, as well as Traffic & Safety’s Sgt. Frank Work, David Silberstien, and several crossing guards.

Haber, who has been an employee for the Township for the past 24 years, was awarded a plaque by the Committee, and will also be receiving a reserved parking space at the building. Additionally, her name will be added to an Employee Of The Month plaque located in the Main Lobby of the Municipal Building.

The employee of the month is chosen by the Lakewood public and co-workers.

The program, spearheaded by Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien, was instituted to highlight the achievements of all township employees and recognize those individuals who serve the public and treat fellow employees in an exemplary way. TLS
