Mr. Nelson Ayala of the Township’s DPW, was named the Employee Of The Month for November at Thursday evening’s Township Committee meeting. 

Mr. Ayala was joined at the podium by Mr. Al Burdge of the DPW as he was awarded a plaque, and with a designated parking spot for the month.

The employee of the month is chosen by the Lakewood public and co-workers.

The program, spearheaded by Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien, was instituted to highlight the achievements of all township employees and recognize those individuals who serve the public and treat fellow employees in an exemplary way.
