Here’s another reason to have a dashcam. Videos leave very little room for disputing in the event of an accident.
This video and other similar dashcam videos are posted on TLS as an awareness to drivers to use more caution on the roads, and perhaps prevent serious accidents by exercising more courteous driving habits.
1. The driver didn’t come to a complete stop at the stop sign.
2. The Gold car made an illegal u-turn

THE PERSON WITH THE DASH-CAM i THINK HAD ENOUGH TIME TO STOP SO I THINK THERE IS SOME NEGLIGENCE ON HIS PART.

I’m not so sure the first driver is totally at fault. While it’s true they made an illegal u-turn, the second driver should have slowed down when they saw the first car stop. It almost seems like they were not even looking up at the time. Seems like they were texting or something
He would not have had time to stop. Wide cameras like mirrors make everything seem much further away.
If he hadn’t slowed down the accident probably would have been much worse.
Driver is guilty of attempting to pass the car ahead of him, while in the same lane. Dashcam will cost him $$$
Without the footage it would have been completely the gold cars fault. The footage only makes the vehicle with the dash cam look worse. If I were the one with the dash cam I wouldnt offer it to the investigation.
He did nothing wrong as the gold car slowed down and moved over to the right before turning into oncoming traffic without looking.

The guy made an illegal u turn and turned right in front of him. Seriosuly?!?!
Besides making an illegal U-turn, the first driver crossed over a double yellow line and did not signal when he pulled over to the right in preparation for his U-turn. It doesn’t appear that he even looked to see if anyone was coming before turning!
