TEHILLIM: Cyclist struck by vehicle, seriously injured

monoc hospital-tlsA cyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Lakewood this morning, officials say.

The accident occurred around 10 AM on Cross Street.

The  cyclist was reportedly found unconscious.

Lakewood EMS and Hatzolah Paramedics treated the patient and transported him to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Lakewood’s Traffic & Safety division is responding for the investigation.

Cross Street is expected to remained shut in the area of Neiman Road for some time.
