  1. now that our community is expanding to Jackson it is high time we insist on equal lighting for all we did it in Lakewood and everyone there is a whole lot safer because we recognized this vital need and requested more light posts and we need to bring the light to Jackson also

  2. Adding lighting / light posts wouldnt have helped in this situation as it was 5 pm and still light out. Additionally some of use dont want to have everything lit up like its daytime when living in more rural areas.

What would help is yielding when required and stopping at stop sign as required by law. To many cars just roll thru stop signs without really looking, while seeing a car as you approach is easier when not coming to a complete stop, a motorcycle or bicycle is not.

  3. Most People in NJ have no idea how to yield, everyone thinks they have the right of way. Perhaps police should start ticketing those people who think they own the road. Walk fast, talk fast and drive like maniacs, that’s what Lakewood deals with and now Jackson is becoming the same nightmare.
