Motorcyclist Injured in Jackson Accident [PHOTO]

A motorcyclist was hospitalized following an accident in Jackson this afternoon.

The accident happened approximately 5:00 PM at the intersection of E. Veterans Highway and Whitesville Road.

Hatzolah and other emergency personnel responded to the scene. The patient was transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sadly, this has become a common occurrence. The drivers in this area are aggressive, distracted by their phones, and aren’t educated in simple driving rules. It gets worse each and every day.

I wasn’t transported to Monmouth medical Center. I went to Hackensack meridian on my own accord. I would like to thank the first responders as well as the people who stopped to help assist by helping block traffic and get the bike out of the road. Thank you all.
