Motorcyclist Injured in Accident in Lakewood

A motorcyclist was injured in an accident in Lakewood this afternoon.

The accident happened shortly before 2:00 PM at the intersection of Pine Street and Sims Avenue.

The cyclist was transported by Hatzolah to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with severe but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.

Expect heavy residual delays in the area.
