  1. Will he cut taxes? Apparently the incumbents don’t know how to. The best they can do is keep it to zero increases. How about some cutting?

  2. Cut taxes (and services) 10%.

And starting salary for municipal workers should be $30,000 with no benefits, just like in the private sector.

  3. #1 & #4

Do you have any realistic way to cut taxes?

Why would you BELIEVE Raitzik if he claims he will?Anyone can claim that.We heard that one before but sure haven’t seen it.

  4. Board of Education didn’t give any raises this year to their teachers. Township didn’t want to hold the line and went for arbitration and the police got raises. That’s why they didn’t lower taxes.
We need Raitzik in the Township to clean the place up.

  5. Do any of you think that our current politicians go out of their way NOT to lower our taxes? They’re all honest people who truly do their best for the community. There is no easy way to cut taxes, PERIOD!
Unless you want some essential services cut, taxes obviously cannot be cut.
Think about that before you waste your vote.

  6. Can you please post a picture of this guy. It’s a little unsettling to vote for someone who won’t show his real face.

  7. Can we have a bit of background imformation here?
I would like to hear what experience the candidate has in government. We have all these new people running for positions in the twp from fire comissioner to school board to wherever there seems to be a position, but do the people running have any real experience in running a public office?
You wouldn’t hire an executive in a business without a resume.

  8. # 11, the one way to stop this insanity is as follows:
stop wasteful spending, programs for one segment of lakewood is not justice or fair. How do you plan on stopping it

  9. I don’t think you are really a Teacher but if you are I can understand why we have failing Public Schools. What do you teach … Grammar?

  10. to # 17
    did obama have experience??
    the status quo is unacceptable
those in office are there for too long.We need new candidates.

  11. My vote is not cheap, I will not hand it to any duffis who runs. Does this individual ( I will not use the word candidate) have any expeirence which would lead you to believe that he can properly execute this job. Does he have an education, a diploma, a resume…Anything?

  12. what we need to teach the public is freindship goes a long way. If we all understand each others needs we could work together in accomplishing these goals.
