Monday: Memorial Day – Government Offices, Banks Closed; No Trash Pickup

On Monday, all Township and other government offices will be closed in observance of the Holiday.

There will be no trash pickup on Monday: Monday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday. Tuesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday. There will be no bulk collection this week.

Banks are closed, and there is no USPS delivery.

After finishing his Memorial Day picnic in the park with his family, the man folded up his picnic table, put it in the trunk of his car, and was about to drive off with his family, when a park official approached him and asked him why he didn’t pick up all his dirty plates, dirty cups and all the garbage he left on the ground.
    “Apparently you didn’t read the signs,” the man told the park official.
    “What are you talking about?” the park official asked him.
    “The signs explicitely say, ‘No Trash Pickup Today’, he replied. “Please don’t ask me to break the law just to make you feel good!”
