Two children feared missing this afternoon had police and Hatzolah searching for over two hours this afternoon, TLS has learned. At approximately 1:00 p.m. today, police were called to the Princeton Avenue area where a 14 year old girl and 10 year old boy, were reported missing.
The juveniles, sources say, were supposed to meet up with family members in the Route 9 area, and when they didn’t, police were called.
About an hour into the search, Hatzolah was called as well and approximately 6 members responded.
At about 3:15 p.m., the children were found by police further down the 9, in what turned out to be a misunderstanding by the children. TLS.
before half the comments start asking ‘How can Hatzola go on shabbos’ and other poinless remarks, just think if it was YOUR kids.
91 was scene command !
Not always does it turn out that Hatzola was needed however you can’t tell initialy when the call comes in.no one knows more about the children than the parents.if they feel a need to call Hatzola yes even On Shabbos hatzola takes the call seriously and acts accordingly.
police and hatzolah are the best
You know, I’m not judging the parents or the kids, but apparently all this happened because of a misunderstanding.
Maybe we should take extra precautions to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again. Like, make sure the kids understand exactly where to go and how to get there, so that it doesn’t come to such a situation where the police & hatzolah are needed.
B”H the kids were found safe & sound. Yasher Koach to the members of hatzolah that gave up their shabbos rest to go searching for these kids. May Hashem repay you many times over.

Hatzolah, KEEP IT UP GREAT WORK.
Watch your children and dont have them out of your sight no matter the age! this town is getting worse and worse with 5 murders in 1 year plus officer matlosz so we can’t trust this town at all anymore.
The headline got me scared cause of the earlier article about a pedofile trying to lure kids in to his car I thought the article would say they were hurt or something like that. B”H it was only a misunderstanding. Scary
