A young girl who reportedly went missing Friday night, set off a desperate search by Hatzolah. Shortly after the Zman, Hatzolah was called to Coventry Sqare after a 3 year old girl was reported missing from her home. Multiple Hatzolah members responded to the are and searched the home, surrounding streets and nearby homes, Coventry residents say.
At about 6:00 PM, the young girl was found sleeping on a chair, underneath the family’s dining room table. TLS-CCP.
LOL!
Omg this story is insane!!!!!!!!!!!
I Had just washed when a chaveirim member knocked on my door we all stopped the meal to go looking bh it ended good
My brother did the same thing as a kid fell asleep under a bed. B”h for happy endings!
BH
they did NOT search the home because if they did there would not have been a search in the first place!
wow, may this be the ending of every story from now on
Glad everything went well and the child was found, but didnt anyone check the house first?
yes im sure the guys searching are a bunch of idiots and didnt search the house !!!!!
WHY CANT PEOPLE THINK BEFORE THEY POST
It’s a weird place to fall asleep and easy to miss a child this way. Still, crazy they had to go through this and put others through this. I am sure the family feels bad about it, but it’s not really anyone’s fault. Some kids can fall asleep anywhere.
i’m sure that must have been embarrassing for them. but people make mistakes. i’m happy she was found safe and sound.
its a wakeup call. bh she was found safe! No reason for anyone to feel bad!
Did any one bother to call the police?
listen, mistakes happen! when your child is behind you and you cant see- your heart drops instantly and the last thing in your mind is to “think cool” – you start to panic and go nuts…. so its better an over-reaction, then a missing child.
JOB WELL DONE BY ALL WHO RESPONDED, MISTAKES HAPPEN BY WORRIED PARENTS…. now we can laugh at our selves with joy, knowing the little munchkin is safe at home.
I LOVE HOW PPL DON’T EVEN KNOW THINGS AND JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS SO FAST. THE PPL THAT SEARCHED WERE ALL WELL KNOWN, PROFESSIONAL HATZOLAH MEMBERS AND ASKANIM. I WAS THERE BECAUSE I WAS A GUEST AT A NEIGHBORS HOUSE AFEW HOUSES DOWN AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THEY HAD MANY PPL CHECK THE ENTIRE HOUSE A COUPLE OF TIMES.
THE CHILD WAS IN A CORNER UNDERNEATH A TABLE, SHE WAS ONLY FOUND WHEN THE MOTHER SAT DOWN AND PULLED OUT A CHAIR.
EVEN THOUGH THIS SOUNDS CRAZY IMAGIN IF THIS WAS YOUR KID…HOW WOULD YOU FEEL???
WOULD YOU BE JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS LIKE THIS??
STOP THINKING THAT THINGS HAPPEN FOR NO REASON..OR BY COINCEDENCE.
THERE IS A GD IN THIS WORLD AND EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IS FOR A REASON!!
good thing the responders weren’t needed elsewhere for a real emergency!!! It’s 10pm do u know where your kids are?
#9 No need to get all defensive, but if they searched the house first this may have been a moot issue….still great job done by all
It’s just good to know that kids like crawling into snug places and those places should be searched first after the obvioussly dangerous like the bathroom. The Shabbos table bedecked with a table cloth that probably extended quite low is a great place for a child to crawl into and play and yes, fall asleep if he is tired and his tummy full.
So Happy She was Found.
# 15 well said 🙂
This is not the first time this happened. About 2 years ago, another “missing” child was found under the table. Why can the family not thoroughly search the house before calling Hatzoloh, the police, etc ?
all we can say is baruch hashem dont say anything bad people always say bad think before you talk and just thank hashem
This EXACT scenario happened to me and my family, also with my 3 year old daughter. EXACTLY the same. (except we found her before calling hatzolah)
Believe it or not, these things happen. Baruch Hashem for happy endings.
