The need for clean energy solutions recently led the state of New Jersey to make a substantial rebate available to energy users who were seeking to install solar photovoltaic systems, but found the initial cost prohibitive. The program was renewed in May for a new cycle, but remained open for only a week before all available funds were claimed! This simply proves the commitment of New Jersey residents to clean energy. This concept is further supported by the fact that the small state is second only to California nationwide in the total number of solar power installations – and the gap is quickly closing.
Fortunately for the residents and business owners of Lakewood, NJ and the surrounding areas, there is no need to wait for the state funded program to reopen in September. Instead of struggling through the hot summer months with high energy, home and business owners can receive their rebate from local photovoltaic system installer Arosa Solar instead.
The Lakewood, NJ company designs and installs premium solar power systems across New Jersey and the tri state area, and until August 1st, 2010, is encouraging locals to come in and get their own energy saving system even if they missed the state rebate.
“Come on in, we’ll give you the rebate!” says Shimmy Tessler, representative of Arosa Solar. “There’s no need to wait to start saving significantly on your energy costs. Call us for a quote – we have custom systems to fit any home or business, we offer excellent financing plans, and our installation teams are ready to go.”
Photovoltaic systems pay for themselves in a very short period of time, with energy produced being recorded and Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) being issued for every MW (megawatt) of power generated. These certificates currently trade in New Jersey at over $600 each.
Many residents and business owners who have a system installed find that they end up actually coming out ahead at the end of each year, with their electric costs covered and a profit coming in from the sale of accumulated SRECs. In addition, for every $1 spent on an energy saving system, approximately $20 is added to the value of the home!
“There are so many reasons to get a photovoltaic system right now,” Tessler commented. “We can set you up with federal incentives in combination with our own rebate, and you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to get your very own solar panel system ordered and installed.”
The amount of the rebate depends on the size of system ordered. “Call Arosa Solar today for a quote, and have an experienced technician evaluate your home. This is a limited time offer, so act now for huge savings on your energy costs this summer”.
So if the value of the home goes up, so does the property tax go up, and property tax will eat up all the savings or even more…
I am almost sure that there is a current law that this should not affect assesed value of a property as the gov’t wants to encourage this “Green” technology.
Arosa Solar installed panels on my house, its a such a pleasure to watch the meter roll backwards. Shimmy, Eric and the installation team are honest, professional and courteous . The panels are designed and set up to view on line, however this created a problem because I don’t have internet access. So these guys figured out how to hook up the computer directly to the system without internet access. They also realized that the angle and pitch of my roof wont give me my full 10KW so they upgraded my panels at no additional cost. They are erliche honest business men and do professional good reliable work.
