Misaskim Grand Raffle Winners Announced

sefer torahTLS has just been notified by Misaskim of their annual grand raffle winners. The winner of the Sefer Torah is Menachem Brickman of Queens, New York, and the winner of two round trip tickets to Eretz Yisroel, is Naftuli Bursztyn of Lakewood. The raffle was held moments ago in New York.

  1. Wow mazel tov! This is very exciting news! Naftali is definitely deserves the the tickets. And I’m sure menachem is deserving of the sefer torah!

  2. The sefer torah was not written yet. The raffle was for the z’chus of writing your own sefer torah. ( Look at the tshuva in Reb Akiva Aiger)

  3. They don’t raffle the actual Torah, as far as I remember, the Torah hasn’t been written yet, they give you the choice ksav etc. I assume they raffle off the money to have a Torah written.
