Misameach Celebrates Opening Of DVD Library In Boston – Gives Kumzitzes With Baruch Levine

[KUMZITZ VIDEO] Misameach of Lakewood yesterday celebrated the opening of a DVD library for Cholim, in Boston. Seven volunteers from Lakewood made the approximately 5 hour drive to Boston where they inaugurated the DVD library offering an array of Kosher DVDs while they stay in Boston to seek medical treatment. The library, geared to children and adults, includes DVDs such as Uncle Moishe, Leah Forster, Hasc concerts and more, all at no charge.

Families travel from as far as Israel to seek treatment in Boston’s medical facilities, and are accommodated by Rofei, an organization founded by the Bostoner Rebbe approximately 45 years ago. The Rebbe, R’ Levi Yiztchok Horowitz Zatzal, was Niftar about 2 1/2 years ago.

Joining them on their trip to Boston, was renowned singer and composer Baruch Levine.

Levine traveled from Waterbury, Connecticut with Aaron Sapirman – also a singer – to give Kumziztse and to cheer up several sick children and their families, through the power of music and dance. Video & Photos by SMS for TLS.

  1. Rofeh is not that old; it started about 35 years ago. And it wasn’t just the Bostoner Rebbe that started it; he got a lot of help from a lot of different people in the Boston community.
