UPDATED: The Minyan Shelanu invites the community to special Lag Ba’omer event this evening. The event, which will take place in the parking lot of the Blue Claws stadium, will begin at 6PM, and offer pony rides and pirate shiprides for kids, followed by live music and dancing with a full barbecue.
The Hadlaka of the bonfire will take place shortly after Shkia. (To bid on the zchus of lighting the bonfire click here).
The night will end with the grand raffle. The first prize is $10,000 and second prize $1,800. (Click here to purchase tickets).
Minyan Shelanu says, “In an effort to keep this year’s Lag Ba’omer event a fun and spiritual event for all, Minyan Shelanu kindly requests that teenage girls not attend the event unless accompanied by a parent.” TLS.
UPDATE: Minyan Shelanu has notified TLS that the event will be taking place rain or shine. A large tent will be set up for the barbecue and the the bonfire will be lit
