Man Found Dead In Apartment, Investigation Underway

body found bookman'sPHOTOS: Police, Detectives Bureau and Ocean County CIU are investigating the death of a middle aged man, found dead in his apartment this morning. Police responded to a top-floor apartment on Clifton Avenue and 4th Street, after receiving a call from a friend who discovered the body.

The friend apparently attempted to call his friend several times over the last few days, and when his calls went unanswered, he decided to pay him a visit, where upon he discovered the body and notified Police.

The body may have been lying there for several days.

Circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determined, pending an Autopsy. TLS-89/TLS-CCP
