As we are all aware, the vast majority of children attending school in Lakewood will be receiving aid in lieu checks in the near future. However, the Jackson Board Of Education for the first time has added another step the parents must follow to receive these checks.
Every family should have received in the mail a form B7T for each child in school. These forms must be returned to the Jackson Board of Education immediately to receive your payment.
Jackson is requiring the same parent that signed the B6T form last year sign this new B7T form.
The Jackson Askonim have been fielding many phone calls about the nature of this form as the letter sent with the form was very light on details.
The Askonim are advising that if you have any questions about the form, you have not received a separate form for each child in school, or are unsure which parent signed the B6T form last year, please reach out to the Jackson school district via email at [email protected] or call 732-833-4601.
Please copy [email protected] on any correspondence with the school district so we can ensure everyone receives the Aid in Lieu check they are entitled to.
Thank you once again for stepping up to help. Jackson should hire a frum consultant to avoid these issues.
when will Jackson school district finally get their act together and learn how to communicate with the frum parents?
The 1st paragraph of this notice is confusing. It states that aid will be issued in lieu of checks and then goes on to list a prerequisite to be issued a check. Please clarify.
I think its wonderful your getting a check. Stop complaining about Jackson…There are parents who drive their children because there is not enough routes and drivers and get nothing. If there under two miles they get nothing…Appreciate what you get. Jackson is a wonderful place to live,or move…
