My family will miss having him as a Shabbos guest.
He was always very polite, saying thank you, and how good the food was.

BDE. I shed a tear at this news. As a kid growing up in Lakewood, Howie was a very familiar face. He was part of this town in his own way for so many years. I wonder if he was a tzaddik nistar. His life seemed very difficult. If I ever didn’t show you the proper respect Howie, I beg you for mechila. I will b”n learn some mishnayos in his memory. If TLC can please obtain Howie’s full name and publish it, I would appreciate that. In addition, perhaps TLS can post a mishnayos chart l”in Howie.

It should be noted the tremendous chessed Rav Dovid Lenchitz provided for Howie. He lived there for years on and off.
