PHOTOS: The King of Jewish Music, Mordechai Ben David (MBD), was in Lakewood last night to assist in planning for a Lakewood Fundraiser for his Seagate community, devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
MBD, along with about 300 other families in the New York commmunity, have suffered much devastation to Sandy’s fury, and are hoping to rebuild the once serene neighborhood.
About 25 Askonim gathered at the home of R’ Asher Hartman last night to plan the Lakewood fundraiser, which is tentatively set to take place tomorrow night, joined by Jewish music icon.
Details of the event will be published once they are finalized.
UPDATE: The event will be taking place Thursday evening at 67 Arosa Hill (Brookhill), at 7:30 PM. MBD will be in attendance, and guest speaker will be R’ Shimon Meisels. A Hot Buffet will be served.

i think mbd and all the other seagate superstars should make a big all star benefit concert and charge $100 a ticket… they can make alot of money
